SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO USE BARLEYLIFE
If this is your first time to use Barleylife we suggest starting out with small amounts say one teaspoon or less twice a day and increase gradually over a few days to the desired amount. 2 tablespoons per day is common but there are folks that use 2 teaspoons per day, folks on the Hallelujah Diet using 3-4 tablespoons per day and athletes using as much as 8 tablespoons per day. Starting slow allows you to get used to the taste and allows your body to get used to it.
Caplets:
1 teaspoon (1g) of Barleylife powder is equal to 2 caplets so you would adjust your dose according to this. For example start with 2 caplets once per day and slowly step up the dose over a couple of weeks to 1 Tbsp (5g) or 6 caplets twice per day. Therapeutic doses would be 6 caplets four times per day, or more, depending on your needs.
In addition to feeding the body, Barleylife works to detoxify the body. A few people have noticed detox symptoms of headaches, flatulence, flu like symptoms or much less common - a rash. These are actually good as the body is cleansing. Decreasing the amount used for a couple days while increasing water intake usually lessens these symptoms allowing the toxins to be purged at a slower rate.
We put the Barleylife in a small Tupperware glass with pure water or an organic fruit juice, and put a lid on it and give it a couple shakes. Barleylife tastes the best in comparison to other green juices. Smaller amounts of water (2-3 ounces) will often yield a better taste than with larger amounts of water. For best absorption most folks will take the Barleylife 20-30 minutes before or 2 hours after eating or taking the Herbal Fiberblend. However some find that drinking some Barleylife with
their meals is helpful because of the enzymes in Barleylife.

With Barleylife you'll notice a difference in just a few days. We've had a few folks use their Barleylife for a while and notice an increase in energy and then after a week or so this feeling subsided so they quit using the Barleylife. When beginning with veggie juices like Barleylife and carrot juice (along with raw veggies) the body often goes through healing and detoxification cycles. These cycles can be accompanied with energy, less energy or even fatigue depending on what the body cycles the body is in and what it is dealing with. So unless the body is having an allergic reaction, which is extremely rare, its best to continue to use the juices even if you don't "feel" the energy that you did at first. As the body heals and restores most folks experience constant energy and well being.
